Who is Joshua Reed and Reed’s Wellness and Fitness Training?
Joshua Reed holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) specializing in Adult Fitness and Wellness. During this time, Joshua spent many hours studying Pre-Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. He is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified personal trainer and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach (Pn1). Following his time at EKU, Joshua went on to study Biomechanics on the Master’s level at the University of Kentucky. During this time, he established “Reed’s Wellness and Fitness Training” in May of 2014 after spending years helping friends, family, and offering advice to others. Since May 2014, he began working with clients on a 1-on-1 level in order to help individuals reach their goals and true potential. Not only does he examine individuals on a fitness and nutrition level, but also takes a holistic approach to the individual’s lifestyle. Prior and since the opening of Reed’s Wellness and Fitness Training (RWFT), he also writes on his personal blog where he focuses on marathon training and running in general, coined “A Runner’s Enduring Excursion“. Since then, he has shifted his focus more toward RWFT. His business has since impacted the lives of many on both a national and international level and in many walks of life including not only those starting their fitness journey, but also those with special conditions and athletes on the high school, collegiate, and professional level.
Joshua’s deepest passion is to help others reach their goal no matter what their experience is and where they are starting. In order to help more individuals, he expanded RWFT’s services from 1-on-1 personal training to including nutrition coaching, small group personal training, and online personal training.
Where does Joshua live?
Raised in a rural area, Joshua still lives nearby and commutes approximately an hour to work with clients primarily in Ludlow, Kentucky and neighboring cities in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio area. Because of his advocacy and passion for health, he is also on the Ludlow Livewell Initiative committee in order to improve the health of individuals in the surrounding community.
